That’s classic.

Joe,

Is this the right Watt bulb and Size? and CAN SOMEONE HELP ME INSTALL IT?

Hi Joe,

Your post is both funny and sad because of the truth involved. I’ve got a couple of additions.

4 to inform you that this particular style of light bulb has been discontinued by this company.

10 to confirm that the style has been discontinued and that they bought the remaining bulbs at a 90% discount.

2 to gloat that they have a life-time supply of the old style bulbs on hand and you should have planned ahead

1 high-tech type to inform you that the new bulbs will throw light fifty feet farther with half the energy

10-12 to lament the fact that gas lamps are no longer used in most homes and that gas lamps had a certain mystical quality that everyone should experience.

2 to stress their preference for kerosene lamps

1 person to advertise 24 EHC’s (size 3/0)tied with the new style bulb for $199

I could go on but mercifully diner is ready. 8T

This ain’t funny…things are complicated these days…no lie, at the inc. I work for it recently took no less than 9 people and an outside contractor to change a bulb…me, couaght in the middle and all I did was ask for a new bulb!

Compact fluorescent? Made in China? if so I will keep my standard
phillips 42-watt lamp!

What was the original question?

“Cabin Fever” season just OFFICIALLY opened !!

Yep and with the general mood these days the shack nasties are, no doubt, soon to follow.

Joe;
You need to seriously consider a visit to TN and relieve those shack nasties!!
Or, find more work!!:stuck_out_tongue:

Joe, It’s not like you to totally forget the food. I’ve seen so many of these serious threads turn into food fights. What about the No Knead bread, Indian tacos, squaw bread, pasta and etc. How ya gonna feed us after all the light bulb changing? Jimsnarocks

Me four…

What’s the largest light bulb that can be effectively used as a strike indicator? :stuck_out_tongue:
Mikey

AND>>>>> What Is A LightBulB???

OH!!! You mean that thing that blinds me when I flip this thingy on the wall!!!

Today’s offering from the PhoDoughgod’s oven, so we can feed the throngs of dim bulbs. This 2# loaf was made in the new clay baker I got at the Thrift Shop yesterday for $1.50. Unbelievably cheap!

Here’s the new baker…

Here’s a 1# loaf in one of my covered glass baking vessels.

Oh, and this is one of four pumpkin rolls I made last night after dinner…

I need to know what is in that last loaf… woza that looks so darn good!

Are you talking about the bread or the pumpkin roll?

 Punkin Roll. Yummy. I’ll be right over to change the bulb. Jimsnarocks

The roll…
