How long the insurance company thinks you will live.

A friend from the Sacremento area sent this to me. It calculated that I would live to 92, 93 if I lose 40 lbs. My grand dad lived to be almost 91, he smoked Pall Malls for years, liked to have a drink or two and thought if there wasn’t a ham in the house you were on the verge of starvation. I exercise 4 or 5 days a week, have never smoked, but do have his love of ham.

This is a calculator that estimates your life expectancy. This was developed by Northwestern Mutual Life. It is interesting. There areonly 13 questions.

says I am going to live until 79 and i was absolutely truthful on all answers .

the wife will live to 93.

Survey says; I would make it to 87. Not likely. Males in my family rarely make it past 80. Besides I don’t think my retirement money will last to 87.

if i lose 40 pounds and drink less I gain 4 years…guess what I am going to do?

I’m supposed to live until I’m 98. Guess I will need to work longer before I retire!

  1. I need to spend more time walking lakeshores and riverbanks (with a fly rod in hand), and less time sitting on my butt here at work…ITS KILLING ME!

Yesterday:roll:

93 I am ready to retire mentally but that is probably not reality

I was kinda thinking the same way. What does it mean when it comes up with a number younger than your age?

One thing for sure I am looking forward to tomorrow

I’m gonna live 'til everybody hopes I croak!!

How long I live probably depends on how I treat my BETTER half.

Rick

I don’t know if I want to live that long.

LMAO. Ain’t that the truth.

When answered honestly, they project 84.

For fun I answered with my real age, height, and weight, then chose all the worst answers for the rest. I would be dead next year they say.

So I get another 23 years to make 88. Not too shabby. Maybe I’ll live to see a grandkid after all.

I plan to live forever… so far so good.

It says 89 - which ain’t too shabby.

According to that thing, my wife and I are supposed to be good to 96 and 97 respectively. Longevity seemingly runs in our families, her dad is currently 96, he still drives, travels a fair bit and does community service a few days a week.

We should all be so lucky…

  1. I guess I’d better go back to work. I can’t afford to live that long. Now I’m bummed out. Jim
