Are you ready for my 2 cents? Most back and neck pain, not caused by serious injury, can be relived by DRINKING MORE WATER. An old timer on the job told me this and he was so right. I had some lower back pain I thought was from not being use to wearing a duty belt and getting in and out of a car. This old timer said ?kid you don?t drink enough water?. He then threw a Gatorade at me. Notice how I didn?t say toss. Nice but firm those old timers. But in two days no back pain and you could hardly see where the bottle hit me.
Oh, and get one of those exercise balls. They are great and will help strengthen your core muscles. They are cheap and will surprise you on how comfortable, adjustable and well they work.
