tail - partridge
butt - Uni-stretch fuchsia
rib - Kreinik blending filament gold
body - Ice Dub hare’s ear
wing - hen pheasant wing
hackle - dun CdC/partridge

Part 1

mash barb, start thread

measure (shank length) some partridge fibers; tie in/trim

tie in some Uni-stretch (I split the hank in half to cut down on bulk); wrap to point above point, tie off/trim

tie in rib

dub thread/dub body

Part 2

counterwrap rib; tie off/trim

trim segments from matched wings

measure (halfway to the tip of tail), fold together over body, tie in/trim

tie in CdC

and partridge

wrap together, sweeping fibers back, whip finish, SHHAN
