What hook do you use for Royal Wullfs? I’ve always used Mustad 94840s but feel I could use a slightly longer Shank. I’d like to know what others use.

I like either Dai Riki 300 or 320s.

I use Tiemco 5212 or what ScottP uses.

Mustad #94831 is listed as a 2X long shank. I don’t know how available it is. The link below has NOT been updated in a very long time.

I like the Mustad 94831, the new Mustad designator for it is R43-94831.

2X long shank, plenty of room for hackle and hair wing.

Tiemco TMC100BL. Never felt the need for a longer hook. Of course the proportions are not the same as the 94840’s and they probably are a bit longer by comparison. I definitely prefer the wider gape of the TMC100.
