Hook & Hackle OOPS! Please read!

(By the way, at the end of this message, I’ve got my “email of the week” that I’d like to share with you folks. It might give you a chuckle or you might be able to answer my question.)

Hi folks. I did a special for you for a couple of days, as I’m sure many of you saw. I also put up a free zinger on Wednesday and Thursday, and well, the web store wouldn’t accept the FAOL 10% discount. I’ve been getting some calls on this and we do apologize for the inconvenience. And one of my pet peeves is promising something and then NOT making it happen. In any case, I’ve extended the 10% off by typing FAOL in the Key Code when you order. I’ll keep it until Sunday at midnight. Also, we have a $3 shipping special this weekend too (for everybody), so this is an opportunity to save a significant amount of money. Thanks for your support! http://shop4.mailordercentral.com/hookhack/

So here’s my best email of the week: A guy has a pet frog and insists that it need to eat Canadian nightcrawlers! He has called everywhere in our area and can’t find them around our area. He knows I sell fishing stuff and wants to know if I can help. Do you folks know anything about this? Do any of you own or know of frogs with Canadian tastes? Do you think he’s pulling my leg? Let me know. Thanks and have a good weekend.

Ron he is not pulling your leg. Leasst wise our frog we had until he got big and the cat got hungry loved canadian nightcrawlers.

What in the heck is the difference between Canadians and others:confused::confused::confused:.

Oh yea and Ron I got part of my order today fabulous, talk about fast delivery. Part of my order was H&H hooks. just tied up some steelhead fly’s on them. Very nice hooks for the price. May just have to buy more. I found them to be very consistand in size which is very nice. Hopefully I can tell you how well the hook steelhead in March.

I knew it had to be something really complicated and sophisticated like that:rolleyes::rolleyes:.

I made a small purchase, but it was certainly worth it. All went well, it gave me the discount, and the three dollar shipping. THANK YOU!

Canadian Nightcrawlers on Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nightcrawlers

and “worms” in that sign mean red wiggler worms…aka trout worms. They are smaller…the kind you can use for composting under the sink in the kitchen.

wish you had more of the new mustad signature converted hooks! my order may have been bigger

Mato Kuwapi,
In my bait days, I could not find those Red Wiggler worms anywhere. They were much better than Nightcrawlers for Crappie & Bluegill.
I only used Nightcrawlers for trout.
Doug

I think cabelas might sell nightcrawlers, but i don’t remember if they are canadian or not??

Anyone remember the TV show WKRP In Cincinnati? One of the sponsors was a worm farm with the jingle “RED WIGGLERS, THE CADILLAC OF WORMS”.
