Me too, Normand. Thanks for posting that link. Lots of good patterns and recipes there too.

I must have done something wrong. I typed Mustad R50 and came up with 0 results.

Thank you sir. It’s safely in my “favorite places”.

Just use the series number, “R50” works. “Mustad R50” does not. Per their instructions:
“Sample Search :-
To see equivalents for a Kamasan B110 hook, just enter B110 and click the search button”

Ah HA!!! So it’s not JUST men that don’t read the instructions!!! Kel just set a very nice precidence here!

Great link! Thanks for sharing

LOL Bass Bug you caught me on that one. My face is bright red I hope you know. A 1550 Daiichi is what I really wanted to know about. But the weird thing is, it said a 3906 is comparable. A 3906 is not a dry fly hook. Oh well, I think that little database is going to be very helpful to me. I am always looking for a comparable hook it seems.

i’m assuming you think a daiichi 1550 is a dry fly hook, but it really is a wet fly hook as is the 3906

heres another chart that says the same thing

I bookmarked it too.
Thanks Norm!

Yes I did not look that up Norm. I saw a video on Hornbergs, and wanted to tie some up. The R50 is what he used. I just ordered some a couple of days ago, when I could not find a comparable hook here. I think before I used a streamer hook. I don’t see how the comparable hooks are a wet/nymph hook if the one to compare it to is a dry fly hook. Oh well. I guess it was as close as possible in shape.
