Holy Grail Nymph SBS

hook - Dai Riki 135 #12
thread - Danville 6/0 rusty brown
rib - Mirage Flashabou opal
body - Zelon dubbing hydropsyche
wing case - pheasant tail
hackle - partridge
bead - 7/64 gold

Part 1

mash barb, slide on bead, start thread; tie in rib, wrap to bend

dub thread, dub body up to hook point

counterwrap rib; tie off/trim

tie in some pheasant tail fibers

leaving some space at the front of the bead, dub the thorax; half hitch x 2, trim thread, SHHAN

re-start thread in front, push bead back against thorax (you want about 1 eye width in front)

Part 2

tie in partridge by the tip and wrap; tie off/trim

stroke partridge down/back and cover with thread wraps

pull wingcase over bead; tie off

trim wingcase, half hitch x 2, SHHAN

change colors to suit your needs, but be careful when making a choice
