I’ll be spending a few days in Holden Beach, around April 20th. Does anyone have any information about where there is good shore fishing? Also, does one need/want waders in NC this time of year?

The water temp should be heating up, but I don’t know if I’d get in without waders. As far as where there is good shore fishing in Holden, I’d say check with a local bait shop. The shops around Wilmington (where I am) usually have a pretty good idea where the best fishing is. Good luck. Let me know if you need any suggestions of people to talk to in or around the Wilmington area.
