HMH Spartan or Standard vise

I have a friend who has been eyeing my HMH spartan, and has told me that he would like to get one like mine or the Standard model.

If anyone has a used one they would like to sell, or know of one that is for sale, please let me know.

I’m pretty sure he will take you up on that. Does it have a pedestal base, or is it a clamp on? I don’t think he’ll care either way, I’d just like to be able to tell him.
