Nice fly Byron. I would have bet that it would not float with the hook up but your pictures prove me wrong.
I like the appearance of upside down duns, particularly parachutes which almost always land the right way up. I don’t think I’ve ever tied one without cutting the thread on the hook point though.

Hard to see, but I flare a very small/short tuft of deer hair at the bend to support the heaviest part of the hook on the water
