I live north of you, I am just north of Whitfield. Give me a week or so to get caught up and we can spend an evening going over the places for you to fish. If you
would like to fish Tampa Bay we can do that also. Do you tie your own flies, if not do you want to? I hosted the first Florida Fish-in with our own DotMan. The second one was hosted by Purebs. WE have this coast under control. IF we could get the red tide to leave. My friend there is plenty of places for you to fish. Now to the south of you a little ways is the famous Saltydancindave, he can help you to the south. There is another young user in Venice but I have not seen him around too much. Teaching you to fly fish will be easy. We have an excellent teacher that is on the board and lives to the south of you. Send me an e-mail and we can get started and I can give you more.

Stev lives a little north of me and fishes the skyway a lot. So we can get you ready and maybe just have a little fish-in just for you to meet everyone.
How about it pirates should we have a little get together sometime soon?

Be careful Harold, I am sure Dave must be setting you up for something.

well i just got back from the beach we got skunked i threw the fly rod some and ended up with the line all tangled up well i’m learning

Reload, welcome to the club. This happens when I try too hard and get out more line than I can handle. The wind can also be a major factor when on open water. Wish I could help, but I’m about 1,500 miles away so I won’t offer to stop by. There are some good videos n fly casting. Doug Swisher’s series and Joan Wulff’s come to mind. Hope you continue to enjoy this most frustrating and enjoyable sport.
