JC - Remember the MI FI and the 11 foot rod I wanted you and LadyFisher to give me some hints of how to cast?
Well take a look at the attached picture.
The 9 footer SA Rod you presented me is working just fine and I think you got a convert here. I’ll be looking for a fix on the 11 footer, but I won’t be looking hard or soon.

lol, thanks rst, but Jack Hise has kept me posted, in the chat room too. Glad to hear that your casting has improved and you are doing so well with ‘normal’ sized fly rods. Jack posted the pictures, looks like it was a fine day for you both. Why not make it to Idaho with us all. Good fishing there too. 
Oh, by the way, that busted rod ya got; sometimes fate has away of getting things in order.
Hey Bob that’s what happens when you use a rod 2 feet longer then necessary. LOL
JC - Believe me I would love to be in Idaho this Sept. I know I will be missing a great time. If it wasn’t right on the heels of our yearly trip to New England I would be making plans to attend.
But it’s like I told LadyFisher in a PM, you guys stay healthy because I definitely want to see you both in Idaho “next” year.
TIM - I hear ya! I’ve fished that 11 footer for 6 or 7 years, and it’s time to get a rod that’s a little easier on the back and arms.
