Hey everyone, I told Ohiotuber it would happen and .........

It did. I told him the Browns would get him a birthday win: Cleveland 31 Kansas City 28 in o.t.

Now whatta ya gotta say Mikey? :stuck_out_tongue:

CLEVELAND? They actually won? Happy Birthday Mike!
Doug

I think I’m in shock!! Eric, you did indeed call this one.
I, of course, am pleased for the win…now let’s see if they can continue to play this way…I don’t expect them to win all the rest of their games, but I DO want to see them play with the same type intensity that they did today.
Mike

Great chance for the Browns and Steelers to play spoiler this year, Mike. I watched that game and was rooting hard for the Browns. That young man looked great at quarterback!

Eric,
I was pleased to see Anderson come in ahead of Dorsey, but he was (as was Charlie, who was 11 of 13 before the injury) the recipient of better blocking. I just hope this wasn’t a “1 game performance”…we’ll have fun watching the Browns vs Steelers Thursday, right?
Mike

Okay, here is my prediction for the Browns vs Steelers game on Thursday night:

Browns 28 - Steelers 21 in regulation.

I love my Steelers dearly but they just don’t have what it takes to string together wins this year. All used up from that record breaking run last year. Cleveland is a much better team than their record indicates.

Hang on…you mean Cleveland has a football team? A real football team? I never knew…
Brad

YOu folks are so lucky. You could have the Vikings. JGW

I spent a week in cleveland one night!!

Eric,
The Brown’s quarterback yesterday was Derek Anderson? EX Oregon State player!
Go Beavs!
Doug

I went to Cleveland on my first vacation. Had just received my very first credit card in the mail. Had vacation time. Went to the airport with the idea of going to wherever the first available flight was going. Cleveland. In the concourse ran into three folks, a long haired guy and two girls, and asked where to find a way downtown. Got to talking, and ended up staying with them. This was in 1971. Had a fabulous time. Of course, this was back in a time that my sister said I lived in a “haze.” That sort of described my week there. JGW

Good landlocked and steelhead fishing in the Cleveland area. Also, the Rock-N-Roll hall of fame is something to see.

White-43,
Do you mean the Purple Haze?
Doug

White43 Quote: You folks are lucky, you could have the Vikings. No, you folks are real lucky, you could have the Lyons!!! Leading all the way, and loose it in the last minutes. I GIVE UP!!

Jonezee – watch a football game where the winning quarterback had a rating of 1.4 or so, and the loser a rating of 12.2. Makes you wishful of a “purple haze!” Nearly as exciting as sitting in the middle of some lake jigging for walleyes! JGW

Thanks White43,
Now I have something to laugh about all day!
Two guys sitting in a boat jigging for walleye,
in a Purple Haze!
Doncha just love MEN?
Doug

We got the Titans…

I will trade the NEW Portland Ski Lift, for ANY NFL team!, except the Raiders.
Thanks,
Doug

Gosh Jack I’m so sorry , are you okay??

Ed,
How do you feel today after that game against the Colts?

Gnu Bee Flyer,
I think that’s the night the Cuyahoga River caught on fire!

Ohio has since done an excellent job of restoring the Cuyahoga fishery.
