Here's Something "Not to Do"

I was tying a bunch of glo bugs over the weekend, getting ready for Steelhead fishing. As I was pulling the material up to cut those nice round balls I like so much I let my little finger dangle downward and apparently got it in the way if my nice sharp Ice Scissors While the injury isn’t serious, I only nicked the tip of the finger, it was an eye opener. Keep those fingers rolled in tight when making cuts of bulky material with sharp (or for that matter any) scissors. I’ve certainly learned my lesson.

OUCH! On the positive side I’ll bet those eggs had a great BLOOD DOT!!!

I just couldn’t resist that one!

A man who truly suffers for realism. lol

Yep, no sacrifice too small to insure a realistic fly!

one time in school I was cutting a bunch of paper at once and the tip of my left thumb got in the way of the dull fiskars as I was cutting the paper quickly…THE tip 1/4"of my thumb was chopped off!!! holy crap does your fingers ever bleed when the tip 1/4 inch of skin off the tip of em!!!

To quote my high school shop teacher “Blood is cheap”

           Bill

 I’m in pain thinking about it. :frowning:
