Help choosing waders

Due to my size 6’4" 270 pounds size 14 feet I don’t have too many options in waders so I’m thinking of either Orvis Silver Label 2 or LL Bean West Branch. They seem similiar in most respects. Any pro/cons between these two. Which one should I get. Thanks

Simms, they do custom waders that will fit you perfectly

Not sure, but Chota is a great company, giving away waders on the main page this month in fact! You might call them at (865) 690-1814, they have a full range of sizes. Simms might too, but they won’t even talk to us.

I’m 6’3", 290 with size 14 feet. I just bought a pair of Simms Lightweights in XXL that fit nicely. They have plenty of room for fleece socks, pants and a jacket worn underneath the waders and I can still step up over logs, rocks and steep banks without stressing the seams. I’ve only worn the wader twice but so far I’ve been very pleased with the fit, comfort and mobility they provide. They’re a few bucks more than the Orvis but I think they’re a better wader. Just my opinion. I don’t think you’ll find any problems getting an off the shelf wader to fit you since I’ve never had one and we seem to be of the same “manly build”.

No interest in the seller, but there is a guy on ebay that sells a lot of odd size, (sorry, oversize, and undersize) Orvis stuff… (email me or PM for link…)

I am 6’4" 250 WITH SIZE 15 FEET!!! (I think I win
As a newbie I did not want to plunk down so much Cash on some cutom Simms waders so I found Very large sized Stockingfoot waders at Hook and Hackle they are a sponsor of this site and give 20 percent off everything (I ordered a 4XL which sounds ridiculous but with my foot size they were the right ones) they arrived in two days and are just what the doctor ordered. Wading boots are a little easier to find. I got Cabelas Ultralights for like 50 Bucks.
Good Luck,
