I got cash from my wife for Christmas & ended up getting a Garmin C340 GPS for the car & need a case (theft prevention). I will soon get the dashboard mount & need a padded case that will hold the GPS unit, window (suction) mount & the (non-suction) dashboard mount. Seems like the cases made for the unit are not only pricey, but limited in size to unit, 1 mount, & power cord. Any suggestions as to alternatives and/or where to look?

You might want to check out the cases for video cameras. They should be large enough. 
and not to mention much cheaper. Take your GPS with you when trying out cases so you get the best case.
