I just wanted to say hello to everyone on this site. I retired a year ago and have been trying, and mostly suceeding, to fish a least twice a week. I read throught a number of the forums and found them to be interesting and informative. Is there anyone else on this forum from VA?

I grew up an hour south of you in Danville, but I have been in Pennslyvania for the last 26 or so years. Over the last few years I have been to Virginia fishing the Maury, the Jackson, Mossey, Smith and some others that I don’t recall the names. I venture to guess you have fished the James for smallies and farm bonds for bass and gills. You ever get up into the mountains for trout?
