A few questions: 1) this rod is the only Heddon Ive seen with a metal slide band. The only reel I have that fits is a Ross Cimaron. Just aquired a 15941/2 Medalist but reel foot is too big. What reel did they use on this :? 2) What do you use too burnish the inside of female ferrule? 3) Just curious if anyone knows what weight this rod is? Kinda hard to try my differnt lines since I only have one that fits. Thanks

On that ferrule…get a couple of Q-Tips, soak them with alcohol and try cleaning the inside of that ferrule before you do anything else. sometimes that is all it takes to make it work well. that Heddon is in all probability a 6 wt. I am a little surprised that that reel foot is too big for that sliding band. Cest la vie!!
