Has anyone tried these?

Does anyone have any experience with the H3O sport series of polarized sunglasses? Just curious, but looks like they might be a good deal.

Very interesting! Interchangeable Lenses.

They look like a decent deal. I like the interchangeable lenses, and the price seems reasonable if they aren’t complete junk.

I got a set for Christmas from my parents. I like them so far, and the interchangable lenses are nice. They do make a difference.

O’ Blue;
I love the way your two posts lined up together!! Your fist… “Wondering if they’re maybe not complete junk”,(in November), then: “I got a pair from my parents, for Christmas”, you posted just today! Ha!
Anyhooooo, they DO look rather interesting and I also like the various lenses, for different lighting situations.

Have you tried all the lenses, on the water yet? Also, would/does it, seem easy or convenient to pack all the different lenses along, in your vest, pack, etc. without the carrying case?
Lastly, how scratch resistant do the lenses seem to be?
“Light and vision”, has become extremely important to me, of late, so thus the interest and the questions, thanks!

Action Optics (a sponsor of FAOL here) has had interchangeability of lenses for awhile. You may want to check them out. I have no financial interest in this other than the continuing support of FAOL by our loyal sponsors.

[FONT=Arial,Helvetica][SIZE=2]1.1mm polarized acetate lenses sound thin & cheap to me and won’t offer much safety protection. I’d pass. I only get 1 set of eyes and mine will be protected by the best glasses I can find, these won’t be them.

The fact that you got them for a present is a BIG bonus. I use to buy the Wally World Polorized singlasses for years. Then I got a pair of AO’s along with a couple of other upper end glasses and I will never buy the WW again. But like I said, they were a gift, FREE, so what have you got to loose.
They say Christmas is all about giving someone something they wouldn’t buy thenself LOL
Use them and enjoy them. They are definitely better than NAUGHTA!
Hope everyone got “something” to use fishing for Xmas. Otherwise, why do we have this holiday he, he, he.

My eye doctor tells me that sunglasses these days are a fashion item and as such $$$ do not equate to the quality of the product. If they don’t state that they are impact and shatter proof, you could be at risk.

That is so true, but the quality does equate to $$$. My polorized sunglasses are GLASS so do not scratch as easy, impact resistant, no distortion, along with comfortable as heck, but they are pricie. Material alone, plus a little more labor does cost.
But just like fly rods, you don’t have to spend the big bucks to go fish, but there is a difference.

I haven’t had a chance to have any of them on the water, but have been using the amber lenses while driving since we’ve had a lot of snow. Excellent for the application, and the grey and light grey will be given a good workout when I get out to the stream again.
I’m not sure how scratch resistant the lenses are, but I do really like them so far.

I haven’t tried them myself but we do ship a fair amount of that brand to the troops in the gulf.

For those of you that really want the ultimate eye protection try one of these:

Sorry I just could not resist that one.:wink: Well, think of the comments you will get and if you need to weld your trailer hitch back on to your vehicle you won’t have to change glasses to protect those pricey other brands you may wear. Plays heck with your peripheral vision but provides outstanding U.V. and impact protection.
