Harold Hattaway update

Just had a brief note from our friend and co-conspirator, Harold. He is fighting off the effects of medication and the resultant loss of energy and ability to participate that chemo can sometimes cause. He asked me to assure everyone he is doing better and plans on many more fishing trips.
So there you have it, the official word, straight from his keyboard.

Thanks Slenon,

Very pleased to hear that he’s on the
mend. Harold remains in our thoughts and
prayers. Warm regards, Jim

Thanks for the update on Harold’s getting better ! For a while I just figured he had submitted the “screensaver” pictures of the pirates flyfishing & had won all the various websites photo contests at the same time, new rods, new reels & a little flyfishing fantasy getaway ! Hey, hey, hey !!! Slow & easy…

Thanks for the update Stev.

Harold, you get better you old salty dog.

Harold is a survivor in the true sence of the word. Our thoughts and well wishes for a healthy recovery.

Is it true that Harold was seen last night clubbing with two babes on each arm and a smile on his face??

Go Harold, OR EVEN BETTER, COME ON BACK!

Can’t say if he waa out last night. He was, however, seen today with his wife at his side and his camera in hand.

He further suggested that our mutual friend Eponymous is now officially a Pirate and can no longer be used as shark deterrent or decoy while the older and less civilized Pirates fish up current.

Glad to hear about Harold’s excursion, good news with the onset of cold weather ! We’ve had mid 40’s temps & have seen 30’s posted for areas around Tampa. Probably just another day in paradise to get well with in the out of doors !

Thanks to Stev and HH for a beautiful (though not productive in the fish landed sense) morning on the water and some great conversation over lunch with the lovely Mrs. H. AAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!

and i heard harold had been sent to a penal colony on a deserted island! good to have you back, mate!

Harold keep the faith, you are in our prayers.
