underbody - non-tox .025
thread - Danville 6/0 rusty brown
rib - small oval tinsel gold
tail - aftershaft
abdomen - hare’s ear dubbing
wingcase - pheasant tail
thorax - pheasant aftershaft

Part 1

wrap front 1/3 of shank with non-tox; tie in thread, wrap to bend

even tips on a pair of aftershafts, measure (gap width), tie in/trim

tie in rib

dub thread/dub abdomen to 60% mark

counterwrap rib; tie off/trim

Part 2

tie in pt

create loop at 60% mark; wax

insert aftershaft feathers (2 used here) in loop, spin

stroke fibers back with moistened fingers, wrap to 1 eye width from eye; tie off/trim

pull wingcase forward, tie down

trim wingcase, whip finish, SHHAN
