Thanks a bunch everyone! I plan to do a little fishing today if I can find any water that does not look like mud after all the rain we have had in the last 2 days. Had some guys at work giving me a hard time about turning 61 and I told them that age was a mind over matter kinda thing and I didn’t mind because they didn’t matter!

Well it was a great day…I did find some water without a lot of color from all the rain we have had and managed to catch 3 bluegill and 25 rainbows! Joe, your Chicago Leech is a great pattern! I modified it a little by tying them up in a 2-tone color. Twisted gray leech yarn with black leech yarn plus about 8 wraps of .025 lead wire under the body. I was trying to mimmic a small minnow. Found they would nudge it on a dead drift, but, would attact it with a series of short strips. Had a great time and did lose a few leechs to underwater logs plus I gave several away to other fishermen. Now I need to order more leech yarn!!
