I hope I get to meet you some day too. You are what we might call a “good bloke” or a “top fellar.” In good old Aussie tradition this endorsement generally carries usage rights to unlimited beer on my bar tab, and any of my possessions including wives, car, and power tools.
The usual greeting of “Happy Birthday!” has been modified over the centuries in the outback to become the now universal salutation of “G’day. 'Ow-ya’goin. 'Ava-good-one y’old bastard.”

Gee-Whiz, I just do not know what to say. I am speechless. I can never thank all of you enough for what you have done for us.
Remember one year ago today what Amy and I were going through? The doctor was absolutely convinced that Amy had end stage, terminal lung cancer. Everyone of you refused to give up optimism and the prayers, well wishes and thoughts delivered a miracle! One year later the official diagnosis is Sarcoidosis from an unknown cause, probably infection. Sarcaoidosis can be fatal but it appears as if Amy’s is no longer active. A double miracle! I am convinced it is because of all of you!

I am counting my blessings today. I have my Amy, Gary, my parents, brothers and sister. I also have the most special family a person could ever be blessed with and that is all of you in this FAOL family! You all have been so good to us and to all that come to this wonderful board. I can never thank you all enough for what you mean to me, what you have done for me. Dang…getting a little emotional here…
