Hand tied flies

Why do people who sell flies always start off with ( Hand Tied Flies) ? If there is another way to tie flies I would like to see it. There are some who can tie without a vise, but I have never found machine tied flies.

Hmmm…haven’t seen that one. Some shops talk about locally tied, but not “Hand Tied”. Probably Chinese characterization.

Can’t resist. I tie flies with my hands as my feet won’t let me do it.
I will go hide now.

That’s something which has annoyed me for years. I still see it regularly, especially on eBay.

It is possible for a robot to tie a fly, but results aren’t very pleasing:

I will bet you a RC cola and a Moonpie, those aren’t robots but some kinds of hand held devices.

No, I think the guys trying to market his surgical robot. I’ve seen other clips of the device where you can see the more of the machine.

That’s about the WORSE presentation I have EVER seen regardless what application this “robot” is intended.

I agree. The guy is a urologist from Fredricksburg, VA, and my immediate thought on seeing it was that “I hope I don’t get kidney failure in Fredricksburg.” It is a number of years old, however, maybe it was harder to make a good video then.

I’ll opt for “hand tied” any day.

I think the video demonstrates quit well the skill required operate this daVincdi robotic machine. Select your Urologist well if your ever need to have your prostrate removed, lest a “snip” be made in the wrong place.

Select your urologist well regardless. Never go the they guy who lost his college basketball scholarship because he broke his middle finger.

What’s worse, except maybe a prostate exam. As the US Navy called it, a finger wave.
