We had a Great Nephew get married in Richmond, VA this past Saturday, & the one request I had of my family was to stop in Harrisonburg, VA on the way home for a visit & 1st “face to face” meeting with Tim Grubb. Unfortunately, Tim was working, so the visit was short. Tim & I have communicated often via phone & email, & my visit with him was a real highlight of our trip! We took a short walk outside & Tim filled me in a little on the local history. Beautiful area, lots of native brookies in the Shenandoah & Blue Ridge Mountains. Tim had sent me a magazine type program for a flyfishing show there in the spring…looks like another “road trip” for the show & fishin’ with Tim in 2007. I enjoyed our visit immensely & will surely make another.

Hey folks, if ya ever get the chance to meet Ohiotuber, take him up on it. Very nice to meet you in person Mike, and your family as well. Wish I could have been free to cast a line with you. As you could see traveling threw here, there is more than enough waters for that. FAOL members are the best, and hey, at least one of you folks know I’m a real person…lol
