Just got off the phone with Bob at Hook & Hackle…nice experience…very accommodating and helpful…
You might note that currently his bead heads, cones , etc. are on sale…there was a thread recently asking about where to get them.

Bob’s helping me clean out my bank account. A pleasure to deal with.
He has been great to deal with when ever I have had any questions.
I have built 3 of their rods for myself.

Bob has customer service dialed. Always prompt with replies to questions, gives me updates on orders without me asking, generally goes above and beyond what one would expect. I have built 5 rods using materials ordered from H&H, 4 of which were their house brand blanks. They are all great rods. You will be hard pressed to find someone better or more helpful to deal with for your equipment.

Never really looked at the site much.I have ordered some things but never looked at rod building.Looking at the kit prices I could be in trouble … just a tough time deciding what to get for my first homebuilt rod … looking at the 2 wts for small streams …brooke trout and such .Might have to call and see what they suggest.

I have been dealing with H&H since before I even heard of the internet. Every experience has been most satisfactory.
