Yup, the trees have leaves on, the water is clear, and the bugs are out. I felt it appropriate to bust out the 4wt and start flicking leeches for sunfish and smallmouth.
Of the 19 caught, only 3 real lookers.

But now, THIS guy, almost 1 pound, which is rather monstrous for such a small stream!

Looks like they would have been fun to me. Congrats on getting out there.
Shoot…did those pesky trout get in the way of catching some good ol’ sunfish?
