as well as all other residents in the affected areas:

Knowing and feeling these words of mine are just not enough , there must be something to do to help…

You are always in my thoughts as fellow Americans… you are hurting , I am hurting…

Be safe!

Come visit, enjoy our attractions, hit the beach and spend some money. Our tourist economy is taking a big hit. Other than that, there is not much you can do but pray they get it fixed.

I suppose you are right… Dammmmmmmmmmm!

While this disaster has affected huge areas of Louisiana’s most famous fishing water and is still ongoing, we have so much fishable waters down here that over 70% of Louisiana’s waters are still unaffected. However, no one is coming down and as a result almost all of our guides and marinas are being financially devastated.

If you really want to help, then come down, stay in a hotel/motel; eat wonderful food at our fabulous eateries; hire a guide; and go catch large reds, specks, tuna, amberjack or other of our great game fish!

You’ll still have the time of your life, and you’ll never meet folks / guides who will be so appreciative.
