I am tying up some streamers to imitate baby crappie and sunfish. I wanted to create a deep profile without adding too much bulk. I used a bit of dyed arctic fox fur for a tail and added some Rootbeer-colored Estz to the body to fill it out a bit. Then, I tied in two Guinea Fowl feathers that have been dyed chartreuse green, To make the head, I cut out two [FONT=inherit]egg-shaped pieces of white glitter foam that I colored green with a marker, added the 3D eyes and gave the head a coat of UV epoxy. It’s a very simple and easy pattern to tie that presents a nice profile without too much bulk and weight. I just thought I’d share it here for those of us who like to tie and fish streamers.[/FONT]
