Playing around with compound dubbing loops; some interesting results although I haven’t been able to replicate it consistently.
hook - WFC Model 6 #8 thread - UTC 70 grey brown tail - moose body hair rib - small wire gold body - dubbing hare’s ear hackle/wing - deer hair/grizzly hackle (loop dubbed)

ive been considering tying some dries with deer hair hackle. using a dubbing loop for a while, after seeing your results, its time for me to get off my butt and give it a try, nice looking tie scott
