On my last rod build I spilled the guides!! Thought I’d found them all, to dumb to count!!?? Then I vacummed! Sure enough I was missing a guide when it came time to build! I emailed Bob at Hook & Hackle, told him what I’d done and ordered a complete set so I could cover future goofs.
He sent me the guide I’d lost and no charge!!
So guess where I buy my rods and tying supplies?
I feel more like I do now than I did when I got here!

Oh Yeh…well, I called Bob this morning to ask a question and he gave me several options for my inquiry and then we BS’ed for another half-hour…helluva guy.

I read your post and figured I’d add my .2
I’ve had good dealings with H&H and BoB.
They have good prices,respond to questions or problems(if any) , ship fast, and sell quality supplies.
I shop around, but I always wind up coming back to H&H for the reasons stated above!
Spoke with him today, I will be ordering a 3wt, IM6 tommorow. And I must agree, Bob is one heck of a nice guy. I could have talked with him for hours!
