About 4-5 months ago someone posted a link to some great, super-clear, 3D satellite maps. They were far clearer and far more detailed than Google Earth. Unfortunately, I’ve lost that link. Could someone please post it again. Much thanks in advance. 8T

I think I posted that originally, maybe on a thread where someone was looking for fishing places here in CO, but I can’t recall.
Anyway, from what I’ve read, the “bird’s eye” view photos are actually taken from an airplane, not from satellite, and aren’t available everywhere. FYI .
I have been using that for a few years. Used to use mapquest but since I use an MSN homepage I just go to maps & directions at the top of the page. Mapped out most of our Montana trip this summer with it. Street directions are cool too because it will tell you what’s at the corner you turn at. Like turn right at Burger King. Just my penny’s worth. Jim

The Bird’s Eye view is great but unfortunately, it is limited to certain areas. Remote fishing spots don’t seem to be included all that often. I was especially disappointed that the Florida Keys don’t have a BE view.

That’s cool, but I did notice the view is dated. The view of my house shows trees that I had removed over a year ago.
