I had a great day fishing today. After seeing the weather forecast on the news last night, I decided to take a day off from work and take the kayak out. The fishing was great as the water temps are getting up. Will post some pics.

HLK Yes, I was on a ranch near Amarillo, Tx in the panhandle. The deer let me get real close to them in the kayak. I spent all day by myself, fishing and watching the wildlife!

Great pics, just waiting for bass to open up in these neck of the woods! Needless to say I count myself a little jealous.

You know it’s a small world. I grew up in Amarillo and moved to the D/Fw area close to 20 years ago and here I find another Panhandle boy posting on a fly fishing forum based in Washington state. Who woulda’ ever thunk it!
