got a bamboo rod it is in relative ghood shape…if any give me some info on it i woulld be grate full…the only tag on it says …diamond manufactering co. diamond brand…trade mark saint louis… this is all it shows …it cast like a 6wt or heavier …so i dont know so i hope to git some input on this …thanks …michael

Not sure if that helps but in my opinion you have something rare, though the respondent in the article thinks otherwise.

Diamond Edge brand was a trademark of the Shapliegh Hardware Co. of St. Loius, MO.
I’m not sure of the Diamond Manufacturing Co., but there would seem to be an association?
Shapliegh’s Diamond Edge rods were outsourced from either Montague or Horrocks Ibbotson.
Pictures would possibly help in identification.
