Good deed

Hey ya’ll,

I wanted to share a little something about a member here on FAOL. I recently purchased a belt buckle from the Things for Sale board. I told the seller I plan on using the buckle as an auction item for Casting for Recovery this weekend at a Gathering down in Virginia. Well this gentleman threw in a few extra little items for the auction and I just thought that was an awesome thing to do and wanted to let ya’ll know about it. Things like this say alot about the character of fly fishers.

Since I remember the belt buckle I don’t even have to ask who it was.
For somebody who takes a lot of heat on the board at times I have seen more than one report about his generosity.Keep up the good deeds.

Hey Jerry,

I’m not surprised to see you doing
something worthwhile. I think it comes
natural to you. But by all means, don’t
hesitate to say who your referring to with
a heart as big as yours.G Kudu’s are
always welcome here. Warm regards, Jim

Jerry;
It may be the people on this board who are special.
I posted that I have another youth group to get started flyfishing and now have some 3 dozen hopper’s tied by members for them to use. I did not ask for this they just jumped in and did it! I’ve also received some very good advice on how to get them started that will help me put the program togather.
Can’t wait to meet you at the Michigan Fish-In!

Don’t forget the Michigan Fish-In August 14th to the 20th. The Holy Water’s of the Au Sable await you!!

Cactus

Doesn’t surprise me a bit. Great folks on this board.
