What color do you usually tie/buy for flashback on the GRHEFB? Which is your favorite?

I tie. I use pearl and “peacock” or other similar greenish flashsbou for the flashback.
I use cut sections or strips of iridescent gift wrap paper for flashback when I put it on my nymph flies for wing cases.
Pearl Flashabou in saltwater size works for me. That’s for “Old Reliable”, Joe Hyde’s size 10. Standard pearl Flashabou works fine for the smaller sizes. Then they get a dab of Loon’s Knot Sense and a short session from their UV light.

I use the new uni peacock tinsel ( actually plastic ).
One side peacock ,and the other orange; neat stuff!
An elder friend showed me a really neat trick to inhance the appeal of the flash back.
He puts a dab of loons uv knot sense on it; it creates a bubble effect, and give the flashy part a added boost, almost 3-d effect.

Christmas time is the perfect time to collect shellback material. Any and all tinsel and all the “pretty” shiny material will work great.
