To be more specific on my fly, it will be an unweighted #10 black wooley bugger with a white tail, white legs, and grizzly hackle.

Folks, let’s be nice and include a return postage label. Makes it nicer for the swapmeister.

Rick

Hey, Kahuna. Why don’t you make a roster of those who are in and what they’re tying. Might be helpful to those who are toying with joining in. Thanks. JGW

I’m in. I’ll tie some Mylar Minnows.

time flies when your having fun, but times fun when your tying fles

I’ll tell you what. I’ll try to make up a list but it might be a pain to keep up with. We still have some time for sign up. If we have a duplicate, I doubt it would be tied exactly the same?? Plus a new prospect could just scan the post??? Kahuna

After a bit of thought, I’m going to drop to a size 12 hook. I usually catch a lot of pumpkin seeds and they have a larger mouth than a bluegill. They can take a #10 pretty easily, but you’ll get more gills on a #12.
Everything else remains the same… Blue and red woolly worm.

Hey, Kahuna!
I sent you an e-mail with some questions. I’ll be ready to ship when I hear back from you. Thanks.

A question if I might. Item #6 of the requirements is a “toe tag”. What is that?

Clint

A toe-tag is a label/tag that you attach to the hook of your fly. It caontains the Name of fly, your name and e-mail address. That way people that get your fly knows who tied it and they can contact you for info on how you tied it.
Kahuna

Oops!

I just mailed mine out today, and did not put an email on the toe tag. It has my name, the fly name/size, and username. I guess people can still contact me via the username.

I finished them, so I thought it safer to send them early, rather than come back and wonder what those flies are sitting on my shelf.

troutgeek

as long as your email is current here in your profile, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Analizing our differences not only leads to enlightenment, but also to new and interesting ideas that you yourself may never have thought of.

Kahuna,

I replied to your e-mail. Did it make it through this time?

Count me in!! Not sure what I will tie yet but it will be something good.
Flyman55

Received flies…great ones I might add from “Troutgeek”.

My flies were sent Priority Mail this afternoon. Should be there in short order.

Kahuna and all,

I am sorry but I will have to drop out of the "go-to bluegill swap. I am suffering from a back problem that prevents me from elevating my arms for working at the vice.

Again,I am sorry. Have fun everyone.

Featherfastener

Not a problem Featherfastener. Take care of that back!! We will have plenty of flys to go around. {:O)
