well done… a “must read”…two thumbs up…
Agreed and the premise of the article is so very true!
I have tried hard to save, resurrect, con out of, or buy back my original fishing tackle. I am fortunate to have most of it.
And like Gnu Bee said, it’s priceless to me.
- GnuBee, great read! Ive been waiting for this after your posting from the fish in. You said more was coming. Keep em coming! FAOL has their own Gerich now

Gnu Bee,
You nailed it my friend. I was with you the whole way. Sometimes the little things mean the most. Besides, you’re right about the $1000.
God Bless,
Gnu Bee,
Your Grandad was a wise man…reward grit! You were fortunate to have him teach you this valuable life lesson, and I hope you have mirrored his wisdom throughout your life. Thanks for giving us a glimpse into your youth. Those are precious years with exceptional memories that last a lifetime.
Joe
GnuBee,
Your Grandad was a great man, and your story was beautiful. Choked me up with joy as the story unfolded. Thanks very much.
