Finally got back out to a great small stream full of Smallies.
This time I was packing the 7.5" Glass.
These Smallmouths were a scream on that full flex rod!
Bad photo, this is a stream no wider than 25-30 feet, shallow water and the fish are released quickly…they reside in plate sized pockets and simply smash the gurglers.
This one was 13-14" and exhibited the odd behavior of hugging my legs for a while after release…just kept coming back towards me and rubbing against my wading boots…like a dog would???
