Give yourself a present...

and make an appointment to have a colonoscopy? today!. Three years ago tomorrow, I was under the knife having a tumor that I had originally thought was just “acid reflux” removed from my upper colon. Sonograms, X rays, endoscope’s, all came back fine … the last and by no means the most pleasant, a colonoscopy, saved my life.
“If I had only had done that earlier”…trust me, that is something you never want to have to say. Do it and you will be giving the best Christmas present you ever will give to those you love and those who love you.

good for you! I had mine done and it is really not a big deal. Well worth it as you know.

Had one last year . They removed what turned out to be 3 Pre Cancer Polyps. They said in a few years if they hadn’t found them I wouldbe in serious trouble.

The test is not bad at all. I’m scheduled for another in January.

You are never too young either fellas I’m only 47…

Please give yourself and your family this present

I love colonoscopies as much as the next guy

but could a moderator maybe move this off the Fly Tying Forum?

I saw the subject line and was hoping for a cree neck on sale or some fancy new scissors or half price hooks or something.

I was expecting an offer of low priced viagra based on what’s shown up lately and I’m sure I haven’t seen more than a fraction of what comes in. Of course when when I saw Harry’s user name I knew better. Edited to add: Do get the colonoscopy. I’ve lost several family members to cancer and they suffered a lot worse than the inconvenience of one invasive test.

I had one last year, piece of cake to go through but cannot see what it has to do with FLy TYING!!!

your right…nothing to do with tying aside from the idea that if you don’t do one you sure as hell may not be able to do the other…

Thank you for the reminder Harry. It IS that important, you can put it in Fly Tying or anywhere else you see fit.

Harry, are you saying there is no fly tying in heaven? Kidding aside, it is a very good gift to give yourself.
