ol blue;
i’d like to get in for mississippi. the pattern i’d like to tie is babb’s ghost streamer.
let me know.
thanks, chris
I would like to do this for the state of Arizona. I will tie the Arizona Diamond Hair Streamer. Effective fly for Trout and Bass in the Arizona lakes. Thank you for such a good idea for a swap.
You are all signed up and PMs are sent.
Blue I just have to get in on this swap. Please sign me up for Texas and I’ll tie a Glass Bead Gill Fly. I and others who I have given this fly to have done very well catching Blue Gills. Oh, this fly will be tied on a size 16 scud hook.
PM sent. You are in.
I’m very intrested in this swap, I’m Chilean so i’ll be using one international spot.
Also this will be my first swap (huge swap to start, isn’t it?), so I have some question about the mailing system, specialy because I’m in another country.
please soemone could expalin me what I need to send (how to send the flies, how i’ll get the swap flies back, etc),
tying is not a problem… so I’M IN, even if I havn’t decided the fly yet.
I hope you answer my qusetion.
If you will go to the swap section and read the first post there called Important swap items It should help you a lot. John
Thanks bassman, I already read that but I’m asking about if I have to do something special for being in another country…
thanks bassman
You will have to arrange the postage with ol’blue. As far as sending the flies. Send them in a good strong box, that will be big enough for the flies you will get back. Besure to send along, packagaing to send the flies back to you. Also I am sure you will have to fill out a customs declaration. I would mark it as fishing flies a gift with no value. Hope this helps John
thanks a lot John, i apreciate your answer a lot

Blue - any chance your gonna do more of those nose hair streamers with the special floatant? :lol:
Hey Manuel, I always found it helpful on the customs declaration to say “Commercially tied” flies so they don’t think you have been scrambling around in some chook yard with diseased animals for the feathers.
Your very welcome Manuel. John

You are in. Let me know if you have any other questions, but I’m pretty easy going on working out postage issues. A PM is on the way with shipping info.
Greg
65 of them?!? :shock: My nasal passages are still swollen from the last batch of those things!
[/url:89e6c] I think I’ll come up with something less personally invasive.

OK… thanks a lot to al those who have helped me…

I haven’t decided wich fly to tie yet, but i’ll be informing when I’m decided
i’d like to do a Red Fox Squirrel nymph for Oklahoma…
You are in. PM coming.
ol’ blue
After some thinking and input from some of my fishing buddies here in Illinios. I have decided to do a Mackie fly this is a very effective Bluegill fly for our area and since the Bluegill is the state fish for Illinios it only seems fitting.
Thanks C Royally
That sounds like the perfect fly selection criteria. Thanks for the thought put into this.
I’ve updated the list.
OK … even though you did post THAT picture, I’ll still jump in here, if you’ll have me. Seein’s someone has already chosen Kansas, I’d like to do South Dakota. What would be more appropriate for SD than a fly by Al Campbell designed for fishing that state…the Deerfield Special. That OK?
