Gary Borgers RED BROWN NYMPH recipe

I would appreciate it if one of you guys or gals that has a copy of Gary Borgers Nymph or Natural would post the recipe for the Borger Red Brown Nymph.

I can’t recall if the mixture for the dubbing was a mixture or not of certain colors or materials.

Thanks in advance.

RkyMtnGuy, Tail=natural Pheasant tail, Abdomen=red brown dubbing(natural or synthetic), Thorax=red brown dubbing spun in a dubbing loop with natural cottontail rabbit or fox squirrel guard hairs, Wingcase=Peacock Herl, Hook=standard dry fly or nymph. This is the Red Brown, Hair Leg Nymph. The dark tan color variation of the HLN is the only one he gives a dubbing mix for in Designing Trout Flies. 50% light hares mask, 25% fox squirrel back, 25% dark tan sparkle yarn. You should check this book out. Catch you later, Jim

Thank you for the information. I did have all of his books at one time. Just decided that I needed to whittle things down a bit.

I have a motto that I use in business as well. I don’t need it if I know of someone or somewhere to get the information.

FAOL is a great place for things such as that!

Again, thank you!
