I haven’t had too much time at my tying bench of late, but I took some time this morning to tie a few up. This is a Game Changer Slider tied with Arctic Fox fur. I made the head from closed-cell foam (flip flop). I mount the plugs on a needle and use an Emory Board to shape the foam, using the Dremel like a miniature lathe. The tail is made from fibers from a make-up brush and the collar is dyed hackle. You can’t see it too well, but the tail is tied on a size four double hook with the points up. https://gifyu.com/image/S4VNu
Excellent looking pattern Jim. The head you created is nicely done. Dennis
Thanks, Dennis, I never really took the time to learn how to tie beautiful trout patterns like you tie, but I enjoy making larger bluegill and bass patterns. This also makes sense since I live n Central Florida and it would be a waste to use your beautiful flies here on Bluegill that will take almost anything.
Nice fly.
Rick
Thanks, Rick. I enjoy messing around with different patterns and materials and mixing topwater with GameChanger patterns gives a different presentation that many of the fish have not seen before.Jim
