Something I ran across, and it might be old hat, but the style certainly looks like it has merit. Those Aussies are a creative lot. Here is a pic of an early attempt I made of the Fuzzle Bugger.
Kind of reminds me of a Mohair Leech, but more flexibility in colors, and textures.
I used Olive Marabou, Light Olive Chenille, and Umpqua Sparkle Blend Frosty Olive, and Hot Orange thread.

I should think it would. I chose the Sparkle Blend for a little contrast against the chenille, though the author recommends darker underbody vs. lighter dubbing, which I seem to have gotten backward. I read on another board where Ice Dub, and other mylar type dubbings were being used to good effect. The article doesn’t say so directly, but there is a product being marketed down under called Fuzzle Dub. I don’t know if it is available stateside or not.
