I’m heading to FWB (Okaloosa Island) for the first week in October. What’s the fishing like that time of year? It’s been 3 or 4 years since I have fished in the bay, and I consistently get skunked on the beach. I’d like to change that this year, so I’m starting to plan in advance for a change.
I throw a WF8F on a St. Croix Legend Ultra 8WT. Just wondering what my options are? Should I get an intermediate or sink tip instead? Trying to decide if I want to lug the Kayak down this year or not - It’s a Native Ultimate 12, so no open water for me. Are there any good grass flats near Destin West that would be easy access?
