From which websites do you do your online shopping for FF ge

First, I’ll try to get an item locally, if that’s not possible, I then check the sponsors on this site to see if someone there has it available. If I still haven’t found the item, I’ll get it elsewhere, although it is very rare that one of the sponsors here doesn’t carry what I’m looking for. I’m particularly fond of Hook & Hackle and Kaufman’s Streamborn (wonderful dubbings!).

“If we carry purism to it’s logical conclusion, to do it right you’d have to live naked in a cave, hit your trout on the head with rocks, and eat them raw. But, so as not to violate another essential element of the fly-fishing tradition, the rocks would have to be quarried in England and cost $300 each.”

How’s your other bother doing?

Lines End for as many things as I can get. After that I look to Feather Craft because of the variety.

Sneaky Joe , sneaky , you got me . lol

I could be wrong , It seems unlikely , but I suppose it could happen.

H&H, eBay, L’ami du Moucheur …

OKO, I buy a heap over the web now, and have forsaken my local stores due to poor service, range and pricing. Naturally I look at the sponsors of my favourite forums first. (???)

After that, Hook & Hackle, Cabelas, Orvis or another very fine company to deal with that hasn’t been menetioned yet, J. Stockard, (www.jsflyfishing.com/) All these guys would have 99% of what I need and are terrific to deal with.

I don’t generally shop on-line for fly-fishing gear. I do research products on-line, but then I usually buy them at one of my local fly shops.

Fishing the Ozarks

Hook and Hackle, ebay, Cabelas, local Orvis shop when I have extra ca$h-the only shop in town.

Eponymous,
