As different as this virtual world is, I do very much enjoy the conversations found here at FAOL.
All and all it just makes the world a better place for me getting an earful from folks like many of you.
The main difference for me with this virtual world is the lack of a handshake, so let this serve the purpose.
I sent a similar message to a friendship request received today.
I thought how some I had not responded to very well or quite possibly not at all.
So let this serve to not only friendships received via the sites personal page
but in general for you all here.

I’d better do this before the long lines form. You’ve covered my back a time or two and THAT will NOT be forgotten and so, I too, would be honored to shake your hand. AND, as a matter of fact, may get to do JUST THAT next week . We’re on our way to Carmel tomorrow and depending on our hosts’ planned itinerary, may be visiting Yosemite NP during the week. I’ll PM you if that’s on the agenda.
A hand shake indeed my friend and thank you… There are many people on here that I would like like to meet in person, maybe cast a fly with, but just to say thank you in person would be something I would really like to do, so thank you for this thread …
Steve, I haven’t replied to this point as a virtual hand shake just isn’t enough. I won’t be satisfied until we share a campfire and a stream. Until that time I will have to settle for the V-Shake
