Free lunch!

Well it’s happening, and I didn’t even vote for the guy. http://www.unthinkfc.com/ It’s a coupon for a KFC chicken dinner ( 2 pc + 2 sides) BUT you must print it before 9:00 AM tomorrow

I clicked the link and it is asking me to download a coupon printer app. I’d be a fool to install something from a link like this for a $5 dollar lunch.
Gary

Coupons.com is a legitimate site and is a legitimate program for viewing and printing their coupons.

Also: https://www.bbb.org/online/consumer/cks.aspx?ID=1060221103954

And: http://www.truste.org/ivalidate.php?url=www.coupons.com&sealid=101

Thanks for the link Mark!

I agree. While the site might be legit, I don’t download anything with the promise of something for free. I just won’t do it. Call it social engineering or whatever. They get you used to doing something like this and then it all goes bad.

OK Gentlemen, I put down my shotgun. In view of the many potential problems I apparently overlooked, you no longer HAVE to download this coupon.

Anticipating NO consequences,( and according to some, taking my computer into crash city) I cashed in my coupon. In my humble opinion, KFC HAD to give this "stuff: away because they sure ain’t gonna sell any, Phooooeeee.
Did any of y’all “cash in”?

Many years ago, KFC changed the way they cut up their chickens. Previously, they had taken a whole chicken breast and made three pieces out of it. Then they decided they would make two out of it, and had an ad campaign to let their customers know how much more they would get. My wife and I went in one day, and standing behind the counter was a well-endowed young woman displaying a large button which said…

“Our breasts are now 33% larger!”

I kept a straight face. Honest.

Of course there’s free lunches. This guy’s having one now. Jim
