For those who don't tie their own flies

I realize that the majority of people here on FAOL are also avid fly tyers, but I thought I’d post this link for the people who have not gotten into that part of the sport yet or perhaps are unable to fill their boxes this spring.
http://www.sierratradingpost.com/promostyles~24720/sports-and-outdoors~d~4868/ This is SierraTradingPost.com and I’ve done a TON of business with them over the years. You can do a search for flies and you’ll see what’s available. Outstanding prices and they’re great folks to do business with. Anytime you can get a dozen Muddler minnows for $5, that’s a great price. They have a lot of different patterns available, but you better act fast and this sale won’t last long.

Leland is having a pretty good sale also, lots of tackle All Redington is half off… http://www.lelandfly.com/On-Sale/Redington-Sale/

I guess it tis the season for sales. Albright has some deals also.

There are some really good deals on Redington stuff at Leland. Thanks for the link Uncle Jesse. Makes me wish I was still working.

Want to really save some $ on flies? Buy this…

Legal fees too high on those, cause when I told my wife I spend $1400 on flies, I’m going to need a lawyer or a doctor.

why not support the little shops, instead of the big box stores and Asia. there are a few of us left yet you know…

Bob,

Not all of us have fly shop readily available to us. The nearest shop I am aware of is approximately 35 miles into the midst of roughly 5 million people in the city of Atlanta. I don’t even know where the next nearest is, I’m probably a little closer to it than James Smith.

I do, when I can afford their prices. Leland is a bigger shop, but not big box. How is Sierra TP big box? They have what, 4 brick and mortar stores?
